Hope & Wellness Center and Telehealth Sessions
As the news and information surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve, the main priorities and mission of Hope and Wellness Center continue to remain the same — to walk alongside our clients in their journey to healing, wholeness, and overall wellness.
Due to the COVID-19 CDC and medical professional recommendations and our commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and clinicians, Hope and Wellness Center has made the decision to move to 100% telehealth services (video, online, texting, phone) effective Monday, March 23, 2020. Depending on your and/or your family’s individual needs, you will be provided options for: secure HIPAA compliant online/video-based sessions, secure text messaging, and secure phone calls. Below you will find a graphic with some tips for successful online therapy/telehealth. If you are not familiar with the concept of telehealth there is a link to the Mayo Clinic’s detailed description of telehealth: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/in-depth/telehealth/art-20044878
HWC will be utilizing Theraplatform for delivering the majority of telehealth services. You will be receiving an email invite to register with Theraplatform in order to be able to meet with your clinician via telehealth. Accessibility to telehealth only requires the internet and can be done from any phone or a desktop that has a camera and microphone. If you do not have access to the above resource(s), please reach out to your individual therapist to discuss other treatment options. Should you have any scheduling questions or concerns, please contact the HWC office at 402-639-2901 or email@example.com/or your individual therapist.
If you already have an appointment scheduled with your provider, please plan to attend your appointment as scheduled, via telehealth. As stated above, we will be using Theraplatform for virtual sessions. You will receive an email inviting you to Theraplatform and a link for your appointment. If you haven’t already done so, you will need to sign the HWC Telehealth Consent form before your virtual session.

Here is the link for the Theraplatform client portal. You will need an invite from Theraplatform to register. If you haven’t received the email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can make sure you receive an invite.
In addition, telehealth coverage varies by insurance company and plan. There have been statements issued by most insurance companies this last week regarding telehealth coverage. Please call your insurance provider and/or reach out to the Hope and Wellness office for any plan specific concerns or if you are uncertain as to whether your plan covers video sessions.
In closing, thank you for your patience, flexibility, grace, and understanding as we continue to navigate this ever-changing and unprecedented COVID-19 situation. You and your well-being are very important to us. We appreciate you! Please feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns: 402-639-2901 or email@example.com.
