Anxiety & Depression

Do you feel “off”, in a funk, easily irritated, or crying more often? Are you not happy with the things that normally make you happy? Are you having difficulty staying focused? You are not alone. Approximately 1 in 10 adults experience depression and 1 in 5 experience anxiety during their lifetime. Depression is more than feeling sad. Anger, despair, loneliness, hopelessness, and thoughts such as “I can’t do this anymore” can creep in. Many times depression and anxiety are experienced at the same time and can have some of the same symptoms.

Other things you may be experiencing with anxiety are excessive worry, difficulty in social situations, trouble concentrating, intrusive thoughts, feelings of dread, and thinking the worst will happen. Everyone experiences these things from time to time. But, what if it doesn’t go away? What if every day begins to feel so overwhelming and heavy? What if anxiety turns into a panic attack or a phobia? Then it’s time to reach out for help. You don’t have to face it alone. The team at HWC understands the nature of depression and anxiety. We will walk alongside you to bring solutions, hope, and healing.

Hello Hope and Wellness Center Clients,

After much thought, consideration, consultation, and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to close Hope and Wellness Center effective January 31, 2022.

As a client, your care will be continued with your current clinician/therapist at their next place of business/location. Your individual clinician/therapist will be communicating with you about this transition process. In addition, the new contact information for your clinician will be available at or by emailing are not enough words to express my gratitude for you (our clients and the community) and all you have contributed to HWC and to my life. Although the HWC doors will be closing, you may reach out if you have any questions.

With Hope,
